Which programme is right for me?
| Programme | For whom | Entry requirement | Price (without VAT) |

| IWT, International Welding Technologist | technicians and technologists | upper-secondary technical or scientific education | EUR 5,800 |

Who are the specialisations for?
For everyone who encounters welding in their work and wants to deepen their knowledge. In companies the specialisation is needed by people involved in welding work, while the company guarantees quality under the EN ISO 9000 series and under EN ISO 14731 and EN ISO 3834. It is also an opportunity for companies that want an EN ISO 3834 certificate for welding quality, or that work with pressure equipment and load-bearing structures, to train their welding staff properly.
The programmes are aimed above all at production management, technology, welding supervision, inspection, design and quality management (QA/QM).
How does the specialisation work?
The specialisation follows the guidelines and authorisation of EWF and IIW. The theoretical part is delivered by distance learning through interactive materials, and practical exercises take place in the welding shops and laboratories of the Institute. Details are on the page IWE, IWT, IWS by distance learning.
How much does the specialisation cost?
The price per candidate for each title is EUR 6,800 for IWE, EUR 5,800 for IWT and EUR 5,600 for IWS, all without VAT. The price covers the costs of distance learning, materials, exams and certification as IWE or IWT. Payment in several instalments is possible.
