What do you check when supervising steel structures?
We check the quality of welds, the quality of the installed base and filler materials, the quality of the corrosion protection carried out, the suitability and validity of welders’ certificates and welding procedures and, above all, the conformity of the execution with the submitted design.
How does supervision of gas pipeline construction work?
At the client’s request we can take over welding supervision only. All of the contractor’s welding documentation and the quality of the installed materials are checked; welds are inspected visually, ultrasonically and radiographically, and the execution of the prescribed welding technology is controlled.
What references do you have at energy installations?
The Institute took part in the construction of the Krško nuclear power plant and the Plave and Doblar hydroelectric power plants, and in the supervision of the manufacture of the heat accumulator at the TE-TO Ljubljana combined heat and power plant.
What do you check when PEHD is laid?
When supervising the laying of PEHD at ecological waste management centres (CERO), municipal landfills and various pools, we inspect all welds visually, ultrasonically, with pressure tests and with mechanical tests of the samples taken. We also check the necessary welding documentation.
