Which NDT methods do you carry out?
- radiographic testing (RT),
- ultrasonic testing (UT),
- magnetic particle testing (MT),
- penetrant testing (PT),
- visual, direct and videoscopic testing (VT, RVI),
- leak testing with vacuum boxes (LT),
- ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTT),
- ultrasonic testing of plate for lamination (UTL).
We also have many years of experience in testing plastic joints, measuring the thickness of protective coatings (corrosion protection), measuring the delta ferrite content and testing the dielectric strength of tank insulation.
What do you test?
- pressure equipment: pressure vessels and piping of all types and materials, simple pressure vessels, fired pressure equipment, transportable pressure equipment, gas pipelines, the pharmaceutical, food and petrochemical industries,
- tanks for petroleum products or other media,
- steel structures, for example bridges, stadiums, cranes, building structures and piles,
- welded assemblies, for example thermal power plants and other energy installations, construction machinery and railway equipment,
- other products and structures.
Why carry out NDT?
Requirements for the quality and conformity assessment of products grow day by day, so defects in material must be detected in the early stages of production, for safety, ecological and economic reasons. The connection with the Institute’s other departments ensures a quick response.
